Intricate pave work on a curved, oversized structure requires specialist casting, which high-street retailers use to heavily inflate the cost. By keeping our production direct-to-consumer, you pay strictly for the 18ct gold plating and the crystal setting, avoiding the standard markup entirely.

Why Oxshire

Not cheaper jewellery.
Honestly priced jewellery.

Fine jewellery craftsmanship doesn't cost £500 to make. It costs £500 because of the postcode the boutique is in. We skipped the postcode. Here's what you're actually getting.

01
Hand-Set Stones
Every stone is individually positioned by our Edinburgh craftspeople. No machine presses. No shortcuts. Each piece takes 40 minutes. The only standard we'll accept.
02
🛡️
3× Industry Plating
3× the industry standard. Engineered to outlast British rain, daily wear, and everything in between. This is why our pieces hold their look for years instead of months. The finish isn't decorative, it's structural.
03
💎
AAA-Grade Stones only
The same optical quality as mined stones. None of the ethical concerns. None of the markup. If a stone doesn't pass grading, it doesn't leave Edinburgh. Our reject rate is under 0.5%, not because we're lucky, but because we're rigorous.
04
🌿
Nickel-Free Always
UK REACH and CPSC tested. Safe for the most sensitive skin. We don't cut corners on materials, because the woman wearing this shouldn't have to think twice about putting it on.

Effortless Elegance
Every single Time

Three things to know before you put it on, so you get the most out of it from the first day.

1
THE STRUCTURED CONTRAST
Heart motifs can easily skew casual. Ground them by pairing with a structured wool blazer or a sharp dark suit. The geometric curve of the hoop elevates the crystals, making them entirely appropriate for formal dinners rather than just daytime wear.
2
ENGINEERED WEIGHT
Oversized hoops often punish the earlobe. The internal framework of these earrings is cast to be largely hollow, offering a heavy visual impact without the physical drag over a long evening.
3
THE EVENING PREPARATION
The 18ct gold plating requires sensible handling. Apply perfumes well before wearing to prevent the chemicals from dulling the pave stones. A dry polish before storing keeps the metal looking sharp.
Our Promise

Every risk is ours.
Every reward is yours.

14-Day Money Back

Put it on. Live with it for two weeks. If it's not exactly right, the fit, the feel, the way it looks on your hand, send it back for a full refund. No photographs. No questions

🛡️
12-Month Tarnish Guarantee

If it tarnishes or the plating wears within 12 months of purchase, we replace it free of charge. No receipt needed. No hoops to jump through. One message to our Edinburgh team and it's sorted. That's the guarantee. We mean it.

✉️
Lifetime Customer Support

You'll always reach a real person on our Edinburgh team not a FAQ page, not a bot. Someone who knows the pieces, knows the materials, and genuinely wants to help you get this right. That relationship doesn't expire after your first order.

What Happened After

Plated gold is always a risk, it usually arrives looking like shiny brass. The tone on these is quite muted and warm. It blends in perfectly with my actual 18ct gold necklace.

I bought these just before going on a three-week holiday and decided they were slightly too large for my taste. Missed the 14-day return policy so I kept them. Wore them to a dinner party last week and actually received several compliments, so it worked out well.

Often with pave items, the prongs catch on your hair. The surface of these is very smooth. I wore my hair down and had no issues with tangling all evening.

Needed a statement piece to wear with a very plain black tuxedo suit. These provided exactly the right amount of detail. They catch the ambient light very effectively.

They sit a bit wider off the face than a traditional round hoop because of the heart curve. It is a very striking look, just be aware they are definitely a statement piece, not a subtle stud.

The cardboard outer box is very sturdy and the velvet pouch inside is useful for keeping them safe in a handbag. Feels like a proper brand rather than a cheap import.

You can tell they are hollow because they are very light on the ear, but the metal itself doesn't feel thin or pliable. Squeezed them slightly to test the hinge and they hold their shape perfectly.

My sister is incredibly difficult to buy jewellery for as she dislikes anything too traditional. The modern shape of these went down very well. She wore them out the same night.

I get contact dermatitis from cheap alloys. Worn these for six hours on Saturday and had no reaction. It is reassuring to find a brand that actually uses decent base metals.

The post has a small groove that the back clicks into. It requires a firm pull to get them off, which means you don't have to worry about them slipping out while dancing.

Sometimes cubic zirconia can look a bit cloudy. The stones in these hoops are very clear and faceted well. They look proper under the halogen lights in my hallway.

Before You Decide

The questions
worth asking first.

No. We specifically use a muted 18ct gold plating process that mimics the softer, warmer tone of solid vintage gold, completely avoiding the cheap, brassy yellow look.

The oversized, architectural silhouette modernises the heart motif. They are designed as a bold evening statement piece for adults, rather than a casual daytime accessory.

Despite their size, the core of the hoop is cast hollow. This significantly reduces the weight, allowing you to wear them for a full evening without stretching the piercing.

The micro-pave crystals are set flush into the metal frame. Provided they are not dropped on hard surfaces, the stones are highly secure for regular wear.

They come with slightly widened butterfly backs. This gives the earring a larger anchor point against the back of your ear, stopping the hoop from twisting inwards.

While the metal is hypoallergenic, we do not recommend wearing oversized statement hoops of any kind in piercings that are still actively healing.
